Here's a quick synopsis: (Development thoughts - It was decided to do Conquering the Surface first as it was felt that Slumbers Rise can be so much more with proper time and budget)

Book One: Slumbers Rise

Vanth had always been trapped in hell, forced to sleep through the eons. He was eternally kept dormant due to Lucifer’s extended maintenance of the seals placed eon’s ago, kept imprisoned to prevent him from breaking free. But one day, a shadowy figure arrived and unsealed him from his prison. Vanth woke up in a rage, tearing through all of the demons that stood in his way. He chased them all up to the surface world, where they now plague humanity...

Book Two: Conquering the Surface 

As Vanth exits the hellgate to the surface, he's greeted by Mephistopheles - not as an enemy, but not as an ally either. Mephistopheles taunts Vanth with his lack of understanding of the surface world.

Mephistopheles points to the sky, and Vanth looks up to see that even the humans have grown to touch the gods. Suspended in the air above the scorched city below is a safe haven - or so humanity thought. The angels who sold them this dream were actually demons at heart, using the humans' life essence to power their wards.

Vanth looks back down and Mephistopheles has vanished. Suddenly, super soldiers appear, mechanically enhanced and ready to investigate the new hellgate that's appeared...

Vanth's Demise features hack-and-slash gameplay with elements of exploration and puzzle-solving, Gesture Regocnition for Abilities, Spells, and the Unique VR Air Combo System, Quests, set in a blend of realms from the gates of hell, earth, where players will use a variety of weapons and items as they battle their way through hordes of enemies through the realm of mortals to the gates of the cosmos(Book Three).
